As a company, Health & Safety is a high priority, putting the safety of our staff above all else. We adhere tightly to all Health & Safety regulations. WEC Group recognises it's duties under the standard requirements and current Health and Safety legislation and will endeavour to meet the requirements of this legislation.

We understand the importance of protecting the safety and wellbeing of all WEC employees and visitors. We adhere to all correct safety measures for our staff and visitors.
Both on site and out on location, Health & Safety is a vital part of all manufacturing processes. Safety measurements are in place at all times to protect staff and visitors. These include;
- Walkways with safety directions
- 'No entrance' signs
- High-visibility clothing
- Safety glasses/Eye protection
- Safety footwear with protective toecaps and penetration-resistance
- Safety helmets
- Ear protection/ear plugs/earmuffs
- Respiratory protective equipment (RPE)
- Gloves
We require all staff to adhere to the Health & Safety regulations and follow all requirements to maintain a safe working environment for all onsite WEC require all staff and visitors to wear the correct protective clothing and safety gear both on site in the warehouses and out on location.
The correct protective gear includes; Hi-Vis vest, coat and or trousers, clear safety glasses or metal visor, safety helmet, ear defenders or ear plugs, safety gloves and safety boots. Appropriate PPE is advised to be worn by all members of staff and visitors.
Health & Safety is a priority for WEC Group and we insist all staff and visitors recognise their responsibility to co-operate and take care of their own safety and of those around them.

All Managers and Supervisors are informed of their responsibilities to ensure they take all reasonable precautions, to ensure the Health, Safety and Welfare of those that are likely to be affected by the operation of the business.

Work Safe Policy
We acknowledge and understand our responsibility and duty of care under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 as amended (General Duties of Self-Employment Persons) (Prescribed Undertakings) Regulations 2015 and undertake to maintain safe systems effecting the health and welfare of my employees and sub-contractors working on Rail Projects.
