The WEC Rail team is highly skilled and fully competent with the knowledge and understanding required to successfully design and manufacture the most complex and bespoke steel structures.

Having operated in the rail industry for many years, WEC Rail has established an impressive project portfolio which demonstrates the diverse range of products we can successfully offer. WEC Rail offer a variety of structures to suit all requirements, and are specialists in 'Access for All' bridges, walkways, cable bridges, staircases and much more - all designed with the view of passenger use.

Capabilities

WEC Group are a EN1090 Accredited company, that are able to handle any metalwork requirements up to 30 tonne. We are a leading fabrication firm with currently over 900 staff, 150 which include welders that are able to deal with any rail enquiries you may have.

As part of WEC Group Ltd, WEC Rail has on-site access to all the latest fabrication, laser and machining technology ensuring we can provide a one-stop-shop for all your metalworking requirements.

In-House Design

We have a very knowledgeable and experienced team of designers in-house to provide innovative design ideas for your requirements. Our design team can also offer Form A, Form B, structural calculations and Cat 2 checks.

Quality Standards

Due to the critical nature of the products we manufacture, we are accredited to BS EN ISO 9001:2015 and have adopted the FAI approach.
