WEC Group aims to provide defect free goods and services to its customers on time and within budget.Due to the critical nature of the products we manufacture, we are accredited to BS EN ISO 9001:2015, are Link-Up approved and adopt the FAI approach in all we do.
As a company we adhere tightly to the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system demonstrating our ability to consistently provide product that meets customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, enhancing customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system. Accreditations
Due to the critical nature of the work undertaken by WEC Rail, our inspection department operates a quality system accredited to BS EN ISO 9001:2015 standards.FAI Approach
We take the testing of any pre-production sample as an essential part of the process of approving an order or contract. First article inspection enables us to determine if the product meets acceptance requirements and quality control requirements as well as the customer specification.BS EN 1090-1
We are BS EN 1090-1 certified. The Construction Products Regulations (CPR) were adopted in the UK in March 2011 to enforce the European Construction Products Directive. The aim of the directive is to harmonise the safety performance of construction products across the EU and they apply to anything placed on the market, whether imported or manufactured in the EU.BS EN 15085
Dedicated divisions of WEC Group, is accredited with BS EN 15085 Class 2 welding for rail work. The standards of the EN 15085 series demonstrate commitment to high quality construction, manufacturing and testing of welded rail vehicles and their components.We also hold the following accreditations and approvals:
